Hooters of Wethersfield, CT

So the final stop in CT came with a place just outside of Hartford in one of the busiest places in CT at the Hooters of Wethersfield. The Hooters of Wethersfield is located on the Berlin Turnpike with the address being that of 1731 Berlin Turnpike Wethersfield, CT and the phone number is (860)563-8083.
Again, this was our second trip there as I went there back in December for my birthday. Just like the on in Manchester, it was a different set of girls that were on that night. There were four girls on the floor and one as a bartender which set up for 5 girls on that night. Our waitress for the night was Ali. She had a pretty good personality and was pretty busy as it was during the Giants/Packers game.
For the food, I switched up minorly and ordered the Buffalo Chicken Strips with the 3 miles island sauce. Talk about a good sauce, wow..that puts even some of the local hot spots to shame and that's not even the hottest sauce that hooters offers. I can't wait to try to even smell the hottest sauce; let alone taste it. Beverage was ice cold although they did run out of the orange bottles but can't complain about it as they are collectors pieces.
For the review, the location was easy to get to. It should be pretty simple as its only minutes from Hartford when you come down 91. Food was great as I stated. Waitresses were pretty good and busy again as it was during the game. All things considered, I gave this a 4 out of 5.

Hooters of Manchester, CT Part 2

Okay, so fast forward to this past Sunday. We spent a couple hours at the Hooters of Manchester, CT with the official greatest sports bar in the world. Hooters of Manchester is located right off I-84 so the location is perfect. Easy on and Easy off. For those with GPS or want to mapquest it, the address is 1481 Pleasant Valley Road, Manchester CT. The phone number to it is (860)-432-5360. We went there to see the first game of the day, that being of the New England Patriots take on the San Diego Chargers. We all know the outcome of the game, and the place was jam-packed. Literately when I say packed, I waited for roughly 5 minutes to get seated and it wasn't there fault, there was just no tables; everybody all had the same idea and that was to go to Hooters to watch the game. Once seated, again..it did take a few minutes but as I stated earlier, they were busy beyond belief. I did have my usual chicken wings but this time tried it with the mild sauce and came out awesome.
They had a group of 3 people in there that were celebrating their birthday and I dont remember exactly what they had to one, I think one had to flap their arms like a chicken, one had to do the boogie and I forgot the third but it was two guys and a girl. So that was pretty cool to see. This was the second Hooters that I've been to for the blogsite, and second time I've been able to see something for a birthday and both times it was something different.
Time for the review..the all important part. The drive up there was freezing cold as it was only 20 degrees outside. Our beverage was nice and chilled with the ice still on the glass. As I said earlier, ordered my usual wings with the Mild sauce. The waitress was really down to earth was keeping up with the business, how I'm not sure because I dont think I would be able to handle it so good job goes out to the girls that night. The manager on duty that night was steve and even he was running around doing work. They didnt have a wi-fi hookup, or to put it in simple terms, the wireless internet. Overall with all things considered, I would rate this visit at a 4 out of 5.

Hooters of Manchester, CT

I know this posting is a couple days late, but that's what happens when your living life on the road doing all kinds of film for networks and corporations while DJ'ing on the side. So this past sunday was championship sunday in the NFL world. First stop on Sunday was at Hooters of Manchester and what a great group of girls they have up there. We did have a previous experience up there back in December and we'll talk about that before we get into Sunday. More on that in the second post.
December 16th was a birthday for me in all the times that I wanted but couldn't this past one was my first venture to a Hooters on my birthday. It had to be by far one of the greatest birthdays in my 27 years, only other ones sticking out was that of the sweet 16, the bionic 18 and of course the 21st. They brought out a little red wagon and was curious about what they were doing and then I somehow found myself on it with the girls all around me pulling me through the store covering me with stickers. Oh, did I mention that I had a crown on my head that was made out of a menu? (I still have it)
The staff was great but I have to say, two waitresses in paticular stand out in my mind when I think back about that night. The first one that sticks out was a girl by the name of CC. Or that's what she went by at least. This girl had an awesome personality and even though she was super busy waiting on customers, she still made time to swing by and chat for a bit. In a photo op, we both got up on the wagon and showed that Hooters is the number 1 sports bar. The second girl that I'm going to mention by far in my mind sticks out as probably one of the best waitresses that I've ever met and really defines what it's about. Her name was Jen. She really made us feel welcome and always checked up on how things were. My Cowboys were playing against her Eagles and when she wasn't waiting on other customers, she came by and pulled up a chair and sat and talked with us about everything from football, baseball and even wrestling. This girl really knew her sports, but the thing that stuck out the most was her personality. During our time up there, there was a kid in there that was turning 7 and had her find out if he was a baseball fan..found out he was a red sox fan (boo sox.:) ) but had her give him a david justice signed ball as a gift from anonymous which she did. On their way out the kid wanted to come over and thank who it was from and she said he's right here, not long after that I can't remember when she said her birthday was but she got an early xmas/late b-day gift in that of a jason giambi ball. Overall that visit easily gets the full 5 stars.

Football madness with the Hooters Girls

Okay..first we would like to welcome everyone to the first posting on our coverage of the world of Hooters Restaurants. We will be trying to go to every hooters in the nation periodically throughout the year of 2008. For those who don't know, Hooters is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. It all started in 1973. So where do we begin this blog/trek of hooters nation?

Seems how we are based out of CT, we're starting this Hooters nation with a stop in the Hooters of Milford, located off I-95 in CT. The exact address of the place so you can mapquest it is at the following: 990 Boston Post Road Milford, CT It is extremely easy to get to and right off the highway. I would say that right now there are close to 250 people in here watching the New England Patriots taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Just about every TV is set up for the football game and likewise everyone in here is watching the game and enjoying the food. We will be posting up a couple pictures shortly. We are working on getting our food and enjoying the view, but back into things, this Hooters has a bike show in the summer time on Friday nights. We will try to find out when they usually do it exactly on what nights, but they do have all sorts of specials, including coming up on Super Bowl Sunday, they will be giving away a 26"LCD High Def TV, and every store will have a winner. So if you can't make it to this hooters, go out and get your chance to win a TV.

For the review on this Hooters, the gas to get here...2 body parts. the quality of the food...perfect in every way. The experience...priceless. As we were down here, we ran into about ten people we knew from previous experiences throughout the state, one of them being a college stand-out athlete. The place as we mentioned above was pretty packed and still is although its starting to die down a little bit. The football game is probably a key factor as to why its busy, it seems that while everyone is watching the game, they are enjoying the great food here. Our waitress was a girl by the name of Kanya...she had awesome service skills and was really busy all throughout the course while we were here. Manager on Duty was Joe. all in all....I give this visit here 4.5 out of 5.
